Hitachi is a corporation that specializes in high-tech appliances such a vacuum cleaners. Hitachi is Japanese owned and is the parent group of the Hitachi Group. In 2007 they made it on the Forbes Global 200 ranking 371 on the list. Hitachi Vacuum cleaners make a line of vacuums ranging from hand held vacuums to shop vacuums. Hitachi provides vacuum cleaners that offer a series of user options like a rewind cord, different power motors, tool storage, and a bag less option. Hitachi’s goal is to make a vacuum that suites everyone’s needs. Vacuum prices range anywhere from $40 to $400, depending on the size and power of the vacuum.

    I own the stainless steal shop vacuum and I got what I paid for. This is the best shop vacuum a have ever owned and I have owned over ten different brands of shop vacs over the years. This vacuum has great quality and even looks as sturdy as it is. My favorite thing about this vacuum cleaner is that I can pull it around anywhere while I am vacuuming it and I know that it will not tip over. I have had this vacuum for three years now and it works just as well as it did on the first day. Hitachi sure does know how to put out a high quality product at a fair price. I am a satisfied customer.

    I would give my Hitachi vacuum cleaner five stars, but finding replacement parts has been a nightmare for me. The vacuum is wonderful and was well worth the money, but after having it for two years I wanted to invest in a new filter, but it has literally been impossible. I have tried multiple websites and even the Hitachi website, but could not find the right filter to fit my vacuum correctly. When I called customer service they seemed just as confused as I was. When I finally found the right one, I paid way to much for it, but had no other choice. My only advice before making a purchase is to find out if extra vacuum parts are available in large quantities instead of having to go through what I had to.

    About two months ago I purchased the Hitachi 7 ½ Gallon stainless steel shop vacuum. For the past two months I have used the vacuum to vacuum my shop, clean my cars, and even in my house. I believe that this is the best vacuum that I have ever owned for several reasons. One, the vacuum is very portable because it is fairly light and moves easily on its wheels. The quality of this vacuum is also excellent, the drum is stainless steal and the extra parts are very high quality. It is great to use in my shop because it does not tip over has a great durable filter. The only downfall about this vacuum is that it is pricey but will last for years.

    Check it out I had mine since the 70s. It’s around 30 plus years old and stll going.
