Panasonic Vacuum Cleaners have created a large variety of vacuums, not only does Panasonic carry house hold vacuum cleaners but they also carry a line of industrial vacuum cleaners for business’s with larger areas to clean. Panasonic offers a wide variety of canister and upright vacuum cleaners all ranging in different prices. They also carry a line of vacuum cleaners referred to as the platinum line of vacuum cleaners. The platinum vacuum cleaners are Panasonic’s premium vacuum cleaner line that contain HEPA filters. These vacuum cleaners range from $299 all the way up to $799 and include canister and upright vacuums.

    I have owned many Panasonic appliances and electronics throughout my fifty years so I thought their vacuum cleaner would be just as excellent. Well I am very disappointed with the vacuum cleaner. When I took it out of the box I was immediately concerned about how it was built because the material seemed very cheap. I started using the vacuum cleaner and it was loud and obnoxious to where I had to turn it off. After using it for a few days the vacuum started smelling like it was burning, I turned it off immediately and put it back in the box to return. I did not even waste my time calling Panasonic because I just wanted to return it and get my money back. I really hope that all of their vacuums are not like this but their canister sure was awful.

    This is an excellent priced vacuum cleaner, its not as powerful and durable a feeling as my old Dyson but it does what I need it to. I recommend this vacuum to anyone who is looking for a machine in the under $200 price range. . Looks good, not too heavy, tools on board and then I saw the cord retract feature!! No more looping the cord around and around and around. I have not found this feature on any other upright. We purchased it and I didn’t realize what I have been missing! Right from the box it was easy to put together, just attach handle and tighten in one twist.

    I am very pleased with this vacuum cleaner, and while it is much heavier than my Oreck and is be a tad bit harder to use on my stairs due to the weight but seems to vacuum just as well as my Oreck did. One of my favorite things about this vacuum is that it is not very noisy which is great because I live on the second story in an apartment complex and I can vacuum at anytime without disturbing my neighbors. I do not like the material that the vacuum is made out of because it feels like I could break it easily, I might just be used to my extra durable Oreck. Depending on how this vacuum does over the years will determine if I purchase a Panasonic again.
